Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the Phoenix Club?

A: The Phoenix Club is a non profit organization registered with the State of Washington. Its only function is to provide a safe and clean meeting space for the Broadview Groups. In order to do this, the Phoenix Club pays rent for the facility, buys coffee and supplies, pays utility bills, insurance and manages our space in the building itself.

In accordance with the long form of the Seventh Tradition of Alcoholics Anonymous, which states "We think that any considerable property of genuine use to AA should be separately managed, thus dividing the material from the spiritual," the Phoenix Club is a separate managing entity.
